Trance music has come a long way since its emergence as a genre of music back in the 90’s in Europe. Now it is an international phenomenon, with people from all parts of the world tuning in to podcasts such as ASOT, FSOE and Global DJ Broadcast, just to name a few. Gareth Emery has long played an integral part in adapting trance music to fit more mainstream ears, his sound constantly changing and evolving with each new album. With his new Drive Refueled remix album being released on March 3rd, Emery has decided to grace our ears with another new track. Entitled “Huracan”, this powerhouse track incorporates elements of progressive house and trance together into a superb blend of euphoria and harmony that is best suited for a festival and club setting. Emery might have moved away from his original trance roots, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to release sensational tunes on a regular basis.
